Tirta Gangga Water Palace of The King Karangasem

Tirta Gangga is a relic of the Karangasem royal palace located in the eastern area of the island of Bali, which is famous for its water park. This water palace was built in 1946 by the King of Karangasem, A.A Anglurah Ketut Karangasem Agung. The garden includes a water palace and is surrounded by lush gardens, decorated with statues. But this one hectare complex was destroyed by the eruption of Mount Agung in 1963. Then it was restored. This tourist attraction is open to the public but mostly visited by foreign tourists.

Located in Ababi Village, Abang District, it is quite far from Kuta for two and a half hours by car. The water in this park is very cool because this spring comes from springs and not treated water. This spring is considered sacred by the local community, and is used in religious ceremonies. You can see the bottom of the pond with the fish clearly visible because the springs are very clear. If you want to visit Tirta Gangga Park, you can use transportation services or rent a vehicle with the driver, because it will make it easier for you to enjoy the trip and enjoy your vacation more relaxed, and the cost becomes cheaper because the calculation is per day or 10 hours. The activities you can get are taking photos on stepping stones in the pond and feeding the fish, fish food is sold in shops around the park.
